Unlike many businesses
in this industry, Mike Pelletier Construction operates on a year-round
basis. We have two heated work trailers that we operate out of which
allow us to work through the harsh Maine winters on frigid cold days. |
It's extremely important
to have vinyl siding at the appropriate temperature prior to installation
due to the potential movement during the Spring and Summer months.
Cedar impression siding panels are installed using special temperature
gauges, so keeping the material at the proper temperature is critical when
installing this product.
Vinyl siding can
crack easily if the material is too cold when it is installed, and it can
shrink if it is exposed to hot temperatures in the summer prior to installation.
As a result, it is critical to install the product at the proper temperature
to avoid these problems. Having two mobile climate controlled work
trailers eliminates these issues for us and makes our work extremely efficient
and very productive.
